Open call scheduled for 'Shark Tank' show

Fayetteville-based Startup Junkie is hosting an open call for the ABC television program Shark Tank in April, and entrepreneurs are welcome to make their best pitch to try to win a place on the show.

Participants will be given the chance to make minute-long pitches to the ABC casting team for a product, business or idea, according to a news release Tuesday.

The open call will be held on April 13 at the Exchange co-working and event space at 409 S.W. A St. in Bentonville. Numbered wristbands will be issued between 9 a.m and 11 a.m, and no one will be allowed to line up before 7 a.m. on the 13th, according to the release.

An application for Shark Tank can be found at abc.go.com/shows/shark-tank/applications. People interested in participating should fill out the application and take it to the casting call.
