Vanessa Harper was promoted to vice president of operations for Mercy Hospital Northwest Arkansas in Rogers. She has more than 25 years of health care experience, including 18 years in human resources. Harper has worked at Mercy since 1993, most recently as executive director of strategic initiatives.

Will Tommey was promoted to director of operations for Mercy Hospital and Mercy Clinics in Northwest Arkansas. He has been with Mercy since 2015, most recently as manager of business surgical services. He earned a master's degree in accounting from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville and is pursuing a master's degree in health care administration.

Todd Kitchen received the Distinguished College Administrator Award from Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. He is vice president of student services at Northwest Arkansas Community College. Kitchen, among 24 other community college administrators, will be recognized at PTK Catalyst 2019, the society's annual convention, from April 4-6 in Orlando, Fla.

Jermaine Bucknor, MBA, was hired as chief financial officer for Northwest Medical Center-Bentonville and Northwest Health Physicians' Specialty Hospital. She has more than 15 years of financial leadership experience as chief financial officer for Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center in Ormond Beach, Fla.; Florida Hospital in Flagler, Fla.; and Ponca City Medical Center in Ponca City, Okla. Bucknor earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Northern Caribbean University in Mandeville, Jamaica, and an MBA in financial management from La Sierra University in Riverside, Calif.

Dr. Julia Gregory recently joined Washington Regional as a newborn hospitalist in the Women and Infants Center. Gregory earned her medical degree at the University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed a pediatrics residency and primary care sports medicine fellowship at the University of Oklahoma -- Tulsa. She is board certified in pediatrics and holds a certificate of added qualifications in sports medicine from the American Board of Family Medicine. She is a member of the national and state chapters of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
