BENTON 62, HOT SPRINGS LAKESIDE 30 Getting 15 points from senior Maleek McClendon and 14 more from senior Sawyer Oulch, the Panthers (9-5, 2-1) knocked off the Rams (3-11, 0-3) in a 5A-South game.

CHARLESTON 79, MANSFIELD 56 Charleston outscored host Mansfield 27-15 in the third quarter to turn a three-point halftime lead into an easy 3A-1 West victory. Brayden Ross led Charleston with 28 points, while Jacob Green poured in 20 and Blaine Rowland chipped in with 18. Layton Howard scored 20 points to lead Mansfield, and Ethan Stovall added 15.

JACKSONVILLE 88, WHITE HALL 54 Jaden Cope’s 18 points led Jacksonville to a 5A-Central victory over White Hall. Christian Moore scored 17 points and Ryan Maxwell added 14 for the Titans, who led 51-38 at halftime. Zavion Jackson led White Hall with 18 points.

MALVERN 78, DE QUEEN 45 Malvern scored as many points in the first quarter (28) as visiting De Queen did in the first half of a 4A-7 game. Dakovon Blackmon led Malvern with 32 points, while Logan Schneider had 13, Dallas Lewis added 11 and Aaron Jones chipped in with 10. Weston Harp led De Queen with 17 points, and Davin Burgess poured in 16.

PULASKI ACADEMY 67, WYNNE 27 Host Pulaski Academy outscored Wynne 22-6 in the first quarter and 45-15 in the first half to cruise to a 4A-5 victory. Griffin Newby led the Bruins with 12 points, and Grayson Koller added 10.

SHERIDAN 60, TEXARKANA 45 Behind 30 points from Tyler Cacciatori, the Yellowjackets (12-3, 2-1) defeated the Razorbacks (3-10, 0-3) in a 5A-South game in Sheridan.

GIRLS

BATESVILLE 70, BROOKLAND 47 Taylor Griffin scored 35 points as Batesville stayed undefeated in 4A-3 play with its victory against visiting Brookland. Izzy Higginbottom added 14 points for Batesville (16-2, 7-0). Kalisa Ford led Brookland (10-5, 5-2) with 10 points.

CONWAY 63, CABOT 41 Asiyha Smith scored 20 points as Conway (16-2) improved to 3-0 in the 6A-Central Conference with a rout of Cabot (11-3, 2-1). Myia Yelder finished with 17 points for the Lady Wampus Cats, and Kyja Chatman added 12. Izzy Arnold led the Lady Panthers with 14 points, and Brooklyn Stracener chipped in 10 points. Conway used a 29-8 second quarter to pull away and led 43-17 at halftime. The Lady Wampus Cats entered the fourth quarter with a 49-29 advantage.

ENGLAND 58, CUTTER MORNING STAR 38 Senior Tatayana Penister scored 18 points as the Lady Lions (16-5, 6-2) defeated the Lady Eagles in a 2A-5 game in England. Baylee Coleman added 11 for England. Kara Kinkaid led Cutter Morning Star (4-12, 2-6) with 13 points.

FORT SMITH NORTHSIDE 63, MOUNT ST. MARY 27 Fort Smith Northside used a 16-2 first-quarter run to take control of a 6A-Central game. The Lady Bears, who had 12 players tally points, scored the first 18 points of the second quarter and led 39-6 at halftime.

LITTLE ROCK CENTRAL 47, BRYANT 45 A three-pointer from Bryant junior center McKenzie Muse came up short at the buzzer, allowing Little Rock Central to escape with a 6A-Central victory. Sophomore guard Lauryn Pendleton had 19 points, 9 rebounds and 4 steals for the Lady Tigers, who led by as much as 17 points in the third quarter, but had to survive a frantic fourth-quarter rally by Bryant to win. Central (6-8, 1-2), which went 15 of 28 from the floor, also got 9 points, 6 rebounds and 5 steals from senior guard Ariyanna Hall. Junior guard Tierra Trotter scored 26 points for Bryant (11-4, 1-2), which shot 13 of 38 for the game. Junior guard India Atkins scored 9 points, while Muse chipped in with 11 rebounds and 5 blocks.

MILLS 41, STUTTGART 40 Mills (5-11, 2-5 4A-5) built a six-point lead with less than two minutes to play, then held off Stuttgart (16-2, 5-2) even as the Ricebirds had two clear shots at a game-winner in the closing seconds. Keitayah Harrison led all scorers with 28 points, but her final attempt skipped off the rim.

NETTLETON 60, WEST MEMPHIS 43 Elauna Eaton and Mya Love combined for 37 points to lead Nettleton to a 5A-East victory in West Memphis. Eaton led all scorers with 22 points, which included 3 three-pointers, while Love added 15 as Nettleton (14-1, 3-0) jumped out to a 19-6 lead early and was never threatened. Aryah Hazley led West Memphis (8-5, 1-2) with 15 points, and Ta’Nya Burnett added 13.

NORTH LITTLE ROCK 84, FORT SMITH SOUTHSIDE 24 Demyla Brown scored 18 of her game-high 20 points in the first half as the Lady Charging Wildcats (8-7, 2-1) crushed the Lady Mavericks (0-13, 0-3) in a 6A-Central Conference game. Brown scored 9 of her team’s first 12 points as the Lady ‘Cats started the game on a 12-1 run. Kennady Tucker hit four three-pointers and finished with 14 points. Kalina Foster came off the bench to score 12. Melanie Rice led Southside with six points and five rebounds.

WATSON CHAPEL 68, LR PARKVIEW 40 Ky’aria Ginger scored a team-high 17 points to lead Watson Chapel to a 5A-Central victory over visiting Little Rock Parkview. Dekeira Kentle had 16 points, and Tekerra Mayweather added 12 for Watson Chapel, which scored 34 points in each half. Kaylan Larry scored a game-high 22 points in the loss for Little Rock Parkview.
