Scooter’s Coffee adds location

Scooter’s Coffee added its second Arkansas location as a drive-thru at 1887 W. Walnut St., in front of the Frisco Station Mall in Rogers.

Alan and Crystal Stall and John and Joyce Winter own the kiosk. They also operate a coffee shop at 206 S. Walton Blvd. in Bentonville.

The Rogers site is celebrating its grand opening this week with daily specials.

Scooter’s Coffee is a drive-thru franchise that started in Bellevue, Neb., in 1998. It has more than 200 locations in 14 states and has over 175 franchise commitments to build new stores.

Chamber plans programs

The Greater Bentonville Area Chamber of Commerce is partnering with Just Communities of Arkansas to create diversity, equity and inclusion programming as part of the chamber’s CRAFT (Community Retention and Attraction of Future Talent) Bentonville.

Programs include eight professional development opportunities for area professionals to learn from and interact with experts in the diversity, equity and inclusion field. Four sessions will offer a focus on the general business public and four will be geared toward and marketed to millennial professionals.

Sierra Polk from the chamber and Donald Wood, CEO of Just Communities of Arkansas, will facilitate the programs. The sessions will begin in the first quarter of 2019 and held throughout the year.
