Jacksonville teens arrested in gunfire

Two teenagers were arrested this week after, police say, they drove up to a parked car earlier this month and opened fire on the three people inside, according to arrest reports.

Officers said Jacksonville residents Malik Wallace, 19, and Armoni Haynes, 18, along with two who were not listed in the arrest report, fired multiple shots toward an occupied vehicle.

The report does not list the location of the shooting or whether any of the three people inside the vehicle were injured, but officers reported finding shell casings matching .45- and .380-caliber handguns used in the incident in a car in which Haynes was traveling.

Officers also reported finding the handguns, one of which was stolen, in Wallace's possession.

Wallace and Haynes were in the Pulaski County jail Friday night on charges of terroristic act, criminal mischief and three counts each of aggravated assault, according to the jail's roster.

Wallace, who was arrested Thursday, has a $100,000 bond set. Haynes, who was arrested Friday, had no bond set.
