FRIDAY'S BOYS

CHARLESTON 61, CEDARVILLE 56 Visiting Charleston outscored Cedarville 36-25 in the first half, but the Tigers had to hold on for a 3A-1 West victory after being outscored 31-25 in the second half. Brayden Ross and Jacob Green scored 17 points each to lead Charleston, while Blaine Rowland added 14. Casey Knight scored 14 points to lead Cedarville.

ENGLAND 70, POYEN 38 Warren Green and Tyler Green each scored 16 points for the Lions (17-4, 10-0) in their victory over the Indians (7-11, 2-7). Kevante Davis added 14 points for England. The Lions led 16-6 at the end of the first quarter, 32-11 at halftime and 47-27 after three quarters.

IZARD COUNTY 63, ST. JOE 28 Izard County outscored host St. Joe 32-5 in the first quarter of a 1A-2 game and cruised to a victory that clinched a spot in the regional tournament. Noah Everett led the Cougars with 17 points.

JACKSONVILLE 67, SYLVAN HILLS 56 Devonte Davis scored 22 points to lead the Titans (9-6, 2-2 5A-Central) past the Bears (10-6, 0-4). Michael Moore had 15 points and Cody Roland added 10 for Jacksonville. Nick Smith led Sylvan Hills with 20 points.

MILLS 69, WYNNE 30 Mills held Wynne (3-16, 0-9) to single-digit scoring in three quarters of a 4A-5 game. Orion Virden led the visiting Comets (15-4, 8-0) with 14 points, while Branton McCrary had 12 and Kevin Cross chipped in with 10.

WEST MEMPHIS 53, PARAGOULD 31 Host West Memphis scored the final 13 points of the third quarter to provide the knockout blow in a victory over Paragould. The Blue Devils (15-5, 3-3 5A-East) built a 26-14 lead over the Rams (6-10, 0-5), then went on a 13-0 run in the fianl 4:34 of the third quarter for a 43-19 edge.

FRIDAY'S GIRLS

BRYANT 53, CABOT 48 Senior guard Kalia Walker turned in a game-high 17 points as Bryant held off a final charge to pick up a key 6A-Central Conference victory over Cabot. Junior guard Tierra Trotter added 11 points for the Lady Hornets, who led 44-34 early in the fourth quarter before the Lady Panthers got within three over the final two minutes. Junior guard India Atkins had 9 points, 5 rebounds and 4 steals for Bryant (13-4, 3-2). Senior guard Anna Wilson scored 16 points for Cabot (12-4, 3-2), which had won 5 of its past 6 games. Senior forward Brooklyn Stracener finished with 10 points, 8 rebounds and 3 steals, while junior guard Izzy Arnold ended with 10 points and 4 assists for Cabot. The Lady Panthers shot 18 of 48 from the field and held a 33-32 rebounding edge but were hampered by 23 turnovers. Bryant was 16-of-46 shooting for the game.

CAMDEN FAIRVIEW 37, STAR CITY 34 After trailing 17-14 at halftime, Camden Fairview (16-3, 5-0) outscored visiting Star City (16-4, 3-2) 23-16 in the second half to remain undefeated in 4A-8 play. TaiSheka Porchia led Camden Fairview with 19 points.

CENTRAL ARKANSAS CHRISTIAN 77, MAYFLOWER 31 Hannah-Claire Haughaboo connected on six three-pointers and finished with 20 points as the Lady Mustangs (13-7, 8-0 3A-5) downed the host Lady Eagles (9-11, 5-3). Freshman Ava Knoedl added 17 for CAC. Karley Brown led Mayflower with 10 points.

CONWAY 68, LR CENTRAL 29 The Lady Wampus Cats (17-3, 4-1 6A-Central) used a 29-0 run in the third quarter to pull away from the Lady Tigers (6-10, 1-4) in Little Rock. It was 22-22 at halftime, but Conway outscored Central 46-7 in the second half. Conway led 53-25 entering the fourth quarter after a 31-3 third quarter. Asiyha Smith led Conway with 15 points and Kyja Chatman added 10 points. Central was led by Ariyanna Hall's nine points.

ENGLAND 53, POYEN 46 Tatayana Pennister scored a game-high 31 points as host England earned a 2A-5 South victory over Poyen. Tybriana Durham added 10 points for England (18-5, 8-2), which led 29-22 at halftime. Madyson Edwards led Poyen with 11 points, and Bree McDermott had 10.

eSTEM 71, FORREST CITY 33 The Lady Mets (15-7, 8-1) outscored the Lady Mustangs 41-12 in the first quarter and never looked back. Haley Franklin led eStem with 17 points. Alexander Johnson and Makeyla Miller had 16 each and Jaylen Mallard scored 13. The Lady Mets led 58-19 at halftime over Forrest City (6-11, 4-5).

LITTLE ROCK PARKVIEW 55, MAUMELLE 46 Junior guard Jordyn Williams hit 3 three-pointers and was 6 of 7 from the free-throw line on her way to a 20-point performance as the Lady Patriots (2-10, 1-3) defeated the Lady Hornets (5-11, 2-2) in a 5A-Central Conference game at Parkview. Senior Kaylan Larry added 15 points and had three steals for Parkview, which snapped a four-game losing streak. Kila Allen led Maumelle with 12 points.

WEST MEMPHIS 38, PARAGOULD 35 Aryah Hazley scored two of her game-high 21 poins from the free-throw line with 5.7 seconds left to play. Paragould's Taylor Beasley's three-pointer rattled out at the buzzer.

THURSDAY'S GIRLS

LAMAR 49, PERRYVILLE 41 Junior guard Lakyn Sanders scored 21 points, handed out 7 assists and made 5 rebounds as the visiting Lady Warriors (16-3, 8-1) defeated the Lady Mustangs (10-10, 3-6) in a 3A-4 game. Lamar took control of the game by outscoring Perryville 16-2 in the second quarter to take a 27-14 lead at the half.

RIVERSIDE 57, MARMADUKE 39 The Lady Rebels (25-3, 8-0) won their 17th consecutive game by defeating the Lady Greyhounds in Marmaduke. Hailey Carr led Riverside with 17 points in the 2A-3 Conference game. Carolina Hoffman added 16 points and Grace Puckett 14 for Riverside. Johnna Rae Baine and Heidi Robinson each scored 13 for Marmaduke (19-9, 6-3).
