Boys

Prairie Grove 51, Berryville 32

The Tigers seized control in the second half and rolled to a 4A-1 Conference win.

James Millwood led a balanced Prairie Grove attack with 12 points. Riley Rhodes and Alex Edmiston scored 11 points each for the Tigers.

Landon Chester led Berryville with 9 points.

Haas Hall-Fayetteville 51, Cotter 46

The Mastiffs earned their second win of the season as three players scored in double figures.

Parker Owens led Haas Hall (2-11, 2-5) with 18 points. Thomas Leonard scored 14, and Jackson Wisdom added 10.

Harrison 59, Pea Ridge 47

Jacob Shrum had 15 points and Champ Saylors added 13 as Harrison defeated Pea Ridge in a 4A-1 Conference game Tuesday in Harrison.

The win helped Harrison (16-5, 6-1) move into a tie with Huntsville for first place in the league's East Division standings with four games remaining. Harrison will host Huntsville next week.

Alex Wilkerson and Nick Coble each had 11 points for Pea Ridge (17-5, 5-2).

Western Grove 87, St. Joe 43

The Warriors jumped to a 30-11 lead after a quarter and rolled to the 1A-2 Conference win Tuesday evening.

Hunter Baker led the Warriors (22-7, 9-4) with 20 points, while Luke Lane chipped in 15. Garrett Dixon added 12, Carsen Parker 11 and Gage Freeman 10.

Booneville 59, Lamar 46

Logan Bradley poured in a team-high 25 points to lead the Bearcats to the 3A-4 Conference win.

Booneville (20-1, 10-0) led 22-11 at halftime and cruised to the win. Grant Goers dished out six assists for the Bearcats.

Charleston 51, Greenland 42

Charleston jumped out to a 15-5 lead, then held off Greenland's second-quarter run to defeat the Pirates in a 3A-1 West Conference game.

Greenland pulled within 21-19 at halftime, but Charleston (14-4, 10-0) answered and led 33-28 after three quarters.

Brayden Ross had 30 points for the Tigers, while Luke Osborn led the Pirates with 17.

Omaha 84, Lead Hill 31

Omaha built a 27-11 lead after one quarter and routed Lead Hill in a 1A-2 Conference game at Omaha.

Austin Isbell had 19 points to lead the Eagles (13-11, 9-4), who led 46-18 at halftime. Trey Stone and Seth Lippe added 12 points apiece for Omaha.

Deer 80, NWA Classical Academy 48

Johnny Smith had 16 of his game-high 20 points in the first quarter and four players scored in double figures as Deer rolled past Northwest Arkansas Classical Academy in a 1A-1 Conference game at Deer.

Smith helped the Antlers (21-8, 8-1) take a 26-6 lead after one quarter, and that was extended to a 48-17 halftime margin.

Keegan Middleton added 14 points for Deer, followed by Caden Young with 11 and Zach Brothers with 10. Gaggan Dhillon led NWA Classical (6-8, 1-6) with 11 points.

Jasper 58, Kingston 30

Jasper had a 17-5 lead after one quarter and cruised to a 1A-1 Conference victory over host Kingston.

Caleb Carter had 22 points for the Pirates (21-9, 7-2), who put the game away with a 20-5 run in the fourth quarter after Kingston had pulled within 23-15 at halftime. Gunnar Davis led Kingston with 11 points.

Bergman 99, Guy-Perkins 80

Shelton Welsh had 28 points to lead four players in double figures as Bergman ran past Guy-Perkins in a nonconference game at Bergman.

Chris Carico added 24 points on eight 3-pointers for Bergman (24-4), which led 51-35 at halftime and 75-51 after three quarters. Chance Carter added 15 points and nine rebounds, while Elijah Royce chipped in 11 points.

Fort Smith Northside 54, Cabot 43

Jaylin Williams scored 12 of his team-high 16 points in the second half to lead Northside.

The victory snapped a three-game losing streak for the Grizzlies (12-8, 3-3 6A-Central).

Williams had eight of Northside's 10 points in the third quarter, then delivered a key offensive rebound and putback to start his team's game-clinching 9-0 run in the fourth quarter.

The Grizzlies shot 21 of 34 (61.7 percent) from the floor and made six 3-pointers. Joe finished with 12 points, all from three-point range. Javion Releford added 10 points for Northside.

Cabot (14-5, 2-4), which has lost four consecutive since a 2-0 start in the 6A-Central, was led by Jackson Muse with 13 points.

Izard County 81, Viola 52

Izard County clinched at least a share of the 1A-2 championship with its victory over Viola.

Coby Everett led the Cougars (27-4, 14-0) with 14 points, Justus Cooper had 13 and Dylan Tharp added 12.

Caleb Faulkner had 11 points for Izard County, which led 27-8 after one quarter and 54-25 at the half.

Bryant 73, North Little Rock 56

Khalen Robinson scored 24 points, and the No. 7 Hornets hit 25 of 47 field-goal attempts in taking a big victory over the host Charging Wildcats.

Bryant (15-4, 5-1) won its fifth consecutive game and now shares the 6A-Central Conference lead with Conway (14-4, 5-1), the team they play at home Friday.

North Little Rock (16-5, 4-2) was playing shorthanded -- senior Kylon McCollugh was out nursing a sprained knee -- and leading scorer Collin Moore got into quick foul problems against the Hornets.

But Charging Wildcats Coach Johnny Rice was quick to point out Bryant was too much for North Little Rock on the boards.

Robinson hit three of the Hornets' six 3-pointers. He scored nine of his team's final 11 points of the third quarter, knocking down a 3-pointer and completing back-to-back three-point plays.

Bryant's Camren Hunter poured in 15 points, and Treylon Payne scored 14 points. Catrell Wallace grabbed eight rebounds.

Monday

Eureka Springs 56, St. Joe 20

The Highlanders had no problem in blowing out St. Joe on Monday.

Garrett Cross led the way for Eureka Springs (24-5) with 14 points and Matthew Lester added 10.

Quinton Willis had 10 for St. Joe (1-25).

Girls

Fort Smith Northside 59, Cabot 28

The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette's No. 1 girls team improved to 18-0 overall with a 59-28 victory over the Lady Panthers at Panther Arena.

Senior forward Sara Bershers and sophomore guard Jersey Wolfenbarger each scored 13 points for the Lady Bears, who are 6-0 in the 6A-Central Conference with victories over Conway, North Little Rock, Bryant, Little Rock Central, Mount St. Mary and Cabot.

Northside shot 9 of 12 from the floor in the first quarter, including making its first six field-goal attempts, to lead 23-5 at the end of the first quarter.

Northside jumped out to a 13-1 lead with 4:42 left in the first quarter with two 3-pointers from Bershers and one from Wolfenbarger.

Wolfenbarger's 3-pointer made it 31-8 with less than five minutes remaining in the second quarter. The Lady Bears finished with six 3-pointers in the first half to lead 38-17 at halftime.

Northside entered the fourth quarter with a 44-24 lead. The Lady Bears stretched their lead to 49-24 with their seventh 3-pointer of the game, this one from sophomore forward Tracey Bershers.

Cabot (12-5, 3-3) was led by junior center Emily Belin, who had 10 points.

Charleston 41, Greenland 29

Charleston used a 17-6 run in the third quarter to take the lead and upend Greenland in 3A-1 West Conference action Tuesday.

The Lady Tigers used the run to break a 14-14 halftime tie and take a 31-20 lead into the fourth quarter.

Alli Green had 12 points to lead Charleston (19-1, 10-0).

Clarksville 60, Dover 32

Emmaline Rieder had 20 points as Clarksville cruised to a 4A-4 Conference victory at home over Dover.

The Lady Panthers (18-5, 7-1) led throughout the contest, but they went on a 15-6 run in the third quarter and stretched their 34-21 halftime lead to a 49-27 margin.

Alexie Tibbs added 11 points for Clarksville.

Berryville 50, Prairie Grove 18

Hannah Morrell scored 12 points to lead the Lady Bobcats to a 4A-1 Conference win.

Kelcee Hopper scored 11 and Lexi Anderson 10 for Berryville.

Lakesha Crawford led Prairie Grove with 6 points.

Vilonia 77, Little Rock Christian 63

Paige Kelley's team-high 21 points led host Vilonia over Little Rock Christian in a battle of 5A-Central leaders.

Lauren Patterson and Lanley Mears had 20 points each for Vilonia (17-1, 6-0), and McKenzie Floyd chipped in with 12.

Amber Brown scored a game-high 22 points for Little Rock Christian (17-2, 5-1), while Reagan Bradley poured in 17 and Wynter Rogers added 11.
