Nineteen young women were presented to society Dec. 28 at the Country Club of Little Rock's 2018 Debutante Presentation.
Each young lady curtsied to her mother or grandmother as she was escorted to the stage by her father or grandfather. Later, the ballroom became the backdrop for a black-tie gala featuring the sounds of Big Swing and the Ballroom Blasters from Atlanta.
The debutantes are:
• Caitlyn Elise Brandom, daughter of Carrie Whiteside-Smalling. She is a sophomore at the University of Arkansas.
• Elizabeth Riggs Brown, daughter of Kathleen and Robert Brown Sr. She is a sophomore at Southern Methodist University.
• Caroline Salmon Cline, daughter of Karen and Ernest Cline. She is a junior at the University of Mississippi College of Journalism.
• Anna Bliss Dean, daughter of Allyson "Bliss" and Dr. John Dean. She a junior at Belmont University.
• Madison Parham Fox, daughter of Melanie and Jeffrey Fox. She is a sophomore at Southern Methodist University.
• Emily Elizabeth Franks, daughter of Lynne and Dr. Hayden Franks. She is a junior at the University of Arkansas.
• Emily Lauren Gillum, daughter of Kim and John Gillum. She is a junior at the University of Southern California.
• Rachel Grace Kreth, daughter of Ellen and Kelly Kreth. She is a junior at the University of Virginia.
• Corinne Carter Menz, daughter of Courtney and Douglas Menz. She is a sophomore at the University of Arkansas Honors College.
• Conley Grayson Norris, daughter of Becky and Dr. Brian Norris. She is a junior at the University of Alabama.
• Anna Clair Oliver, daughter of Christi and John Oliver. She is a sophomore at the University of Arkansas.
• Catherine Alexandra Pickell, daughter of Allison and John Pickell. She is a sophomore at the University of Arkansas.
• Jaclyn Thomas Pugh, daughter of Cindy and Thomas Pugh Jr. She is a sophomore at the University of Arkansas.
• Sarah Clayton Reddick, daughter of Tiffany and Brian Reddick. She is a sophomore at the University of Arkansas.
• Claire Elaine Seale, daughter of Amy and Dr. Jared Seale. She is a junior at Ouachita Baptist University.
• Arden Jewell Stephens, daughter of Carol and Wilton "Witt" Stephens Jr. She is a sophomore at the University of Virginia.
• Madeline Claire Tabor, daughter of Denise and Scott Tabor. She is a junior at the University of Mississippi.
• Susan Christine Tucker, daughter of Shelly and Scott Tucker. She is a junior at the University of Arkansas.
• Delia Jane Headstream Wade, daughter of Stephanie and John Wade. She is a 2018 graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design and is currently studying at Central Saint Martins in London, England.
