Dr. Carlos Vela Sandoval, certified internal medicine physician, joined the medical staff of Northwest Health, practicing at Northwest Medical Plaza -- Eastside. He was a hospitalist at San Juan Regional Medical Center in Farmington, N.M. for the past 11 years. Sandoval received his medical education at Universidad Francisco Marroquin Guatemala, and completed an internal medicine residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, N.Y.

He has more than 25 years of museum digital experience, most recently from the Bullock Texas State History Museum in Austin, Texas, and the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C. Johnson is a graduate of the University of Maryland with a bachelor of arts in film production and a master of library and information science.
Emily Neuman was hired by Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art to be public relations manager at the Momentary. She was brand marketing manager for 21c Museum Hotels in Louisville, Ky. Neuman graduated with a bachelor of science in hotel and restaurant management from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, and holds a master of science in communications from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Ind.
Erin Anson Ellis was hired by Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art to be production manager at the Momentary. She was general manager for Ballet Arkansas in Little Rock. Ellis holds a bachelor of arts in theater arts from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
Duane Jones of Siloam Springs received the 2019 Pharmacist of the Year Award at the Arkansas Pharmacist's Association luncheon June 6. He is a pharmacist and district manager for more than 30 Harps Food Stores pharmacies. He is also community pharmacy residency director and clinic programs and operations director for Harps' Pharmacy Division. He also is an adjunct assistant professor at UAMS College of Pharmacy. Jones is a graduate of the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville and the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center College of Pharmacy.
