Tomatoes at the Trotter hosted by University of Arkansas Monticello College of Forestry, Agriculture and Natural Resources, 6:30 p.m. June 27, Trotter House, 404 N. Main St., Monticello. The event will feature a tomato tasting and four-course dinner prepared by Aramark chef Thomas Bedward with a keynote address by former state representative and chairman of the Arkansas Highway Commission, John Lipton. Proceeds from the event will benefit scholarship programs for UAM College of Forestry, Agriculture and Natural Resources students. Tickets are $30 and include tomato recipes and growing tips.
