'Black 'n da Blues'
Contemporary blues singer and high-stepper James "Gone for Good" Morgan, gospel singer Vera White and blues singer/guitarist Marcus "Mookie" Cartwright are among the performers on the second "Black 'n 'da Blues: Stories and Songs from the Arkansas Delta" tour, debuting at 7 p.m. Monday on the Front Porch Stage of the at the Delta Cultural Center's Miller Annex, 223 Cherry St., Helena-West Helena. The tour is a joint project of the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville, the Remember2019 Collective, the Delta Cultural Center and the Lewis Prize for Music. Jazz fundraiser
The Arkansas Jazz Heritage Foundation, which maintains and sponsors the Arkansas Jazz Hall of Fame, will hold its 2019 annual fundraiser, including a jazz concert with "special sit-ins," 8-11 p.m. Monday at the Atlas Bar, 1224 S. Main St., Little Rock. Performers include Grammy-nominated singer Roseanna Vitro (1998 Arkansas Jazz Hall of Fame inductee), with an anchoring quartet that includes Hall of Famers Joe Vick, upright bass; Ted Ludwig, guitar; and Brian Brown, drums, plus Sam Carroll on keyboard. Other Hall of Fame inductees will sit in.

Opera in the Ozarks
Opera in the Ozarks will stage its first-ever production of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's The Abduction From the Seraglio, in repertory with Giacomo Puccini's La Boheme and Mark Adamo's Little Women during its 69th season, Friday-July 19 at Inspiration Point, 16311 U.S. 62 West, west of Eureka Springs.
The company — 39 singers and professional musicians from across the country — will give a total of 22 fully staged and costumed performances:
• Little Women: 7:30 p.m. June 21, 26, 29, July 2, 12 and 18; 2:30 p.m. July 7
• The Abduction From the Seraglio: June 22, 27, July 1, 5, 8, 11, 17
• La Boheme: June 25, 28, July 3, 6, 9, 13, 19; 2:30 p.m. June 30.

• Playwright and actress Nan Colton's one-woman show, The Woman Behind "Little Women," a biographical sketch of author Louisa May Alcott, 1:15 p.m. July 7 preceding the Little Women matinee
