Bonerama was formed in New Orleans in 1998 by trombone players Mark Mullins and Craig Klein (at the time they were also members of Harry Connick, Jr.'s big band.) The six-man band incorporates soul, pop, funk, fusion, jazz, rock, blues, alternative and reggae into its sound. Bonerama is touring to promote its seventh album, Hot Like Fire, released by Basin Street Records.
The concert is the third in the club's 2018-19 Archetypes & Troubadours series.
Butterfly, also known as Katrice Newbill, will perform at 9 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $7 in advance, $10 on the day of the show.
Newbill performs a mix of reggae, soul and gospel music.
