COSMOLOGIST was one-paced in his first race after a long layoff, but he is another who will benefit from a contentious pace. He has a license to show marked improvement.

EXOTIC POSSIBILITIES
The first race has a live long shot in Blanco Bronco, so I'll put him on top in a trifecta and use roughly six in the second and third slots to make sure I collect if he wins. The sixth race starts a 50-cent Pick-4, and Bold Prophet is a logical favorite, but others have a chance to win. The seventh race is a competitive sprint, and spreading out is recommended. The eighth race is a two-horse race in my mind, and the ninth has two fillies I really like.
