Cromwell Architects Engineers has established a new satellite office at 109 West Emma Ave. in Springdale. The office is led by Regional Director Josh Danish, a graduate of the Fay Jones School of Architecture and Design at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. He has 15 years of experience in the field.

BANKING

Arvest Bank has hired Tina Adams as community development mortgage lender, a new position. The bank promoted two others. Ethan Bly is now a mortgage loan officer in Conway. Bly most recently worked as a senior teller. He will be based out of the Arvest location at 2590 Donaghey Ave. in Conway. Magan Gray is now an associate mortgage lender in Little Rock. Gray will be based out of the Arvest branch at 440 W. Markham St. in Little Rock. Previously, she was a mortgage sales assistant with Arvest.

The Capital Bank has expanded its retail and commercial team. David Bush is executive vice president of consumer lending and private banking; Elizabeth Meyer is senior vice president, consumer lender and branch manager; and Andrew Carroll is vice president and commercial loan officer.

Farmers and Merchants Bank has promoted seven employees: Alex Maynard to Stuttgart market president; Robin Troy to loan operations officer; Sandy Kee to assistant vice president and loan officer in the bank's Hazen branch; Shonda Jones to vice president and trust officer at The Bank of Fayetteville; Jill Trader to assistant vice president and audit director at The Bank of Fayetteville; Melissa Reid to assistant vice president and Real Estate loan officer at The Bank of Fayetteville; and Beth Tiner to assistant vice president and loan operations officer at The Bank of Fayetteville.

HIGHER EDUCATION

Jeremy Laxton of Little Rock has been hired as associate director of admissions at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, effective April 1. He is a UALR graduate who worked as the senior assistant director for the university's Office of Admissions. Morgan Crain of Little Rock has been hired as an event fundraiser at UALR Downtown.

LAW

Rose Law Firm -- with locations in Little Rock and Fayetteville -- has elevated three lawyers to shareholder status, naming Mark Murphey Henry, Adam Hopkins and Madeline Taylor as members of the law firm.
