Pet of the Week

Zephyr is a little different from most dogs, and he's even greater. Zephyr is more like a 70-pound cat. He's an Anatolian Shepherd, which means he's independent. He loves company, but he doesn't need attention every second of the day. He's calm, cool and collected, and is happy to show his personality once he has some time to warm up to a person first. He loves to run around outside and to have his chest rubbed just so. He's affectionate with the people he trusts. Zephyr is house-trained, neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. His adoption fee is $200.

Paws in Prison Pet of the Week

Shiloh is a quintessential beagle. He has a pretty red coat and stunning hazel eyes. He's silly, loving, playful and a little stubborn, but that's his breed. Shiloh loves everyone he meets -- adults and children, and is great with other dogs. This sweet boy is going to Paws in Prison to learn how to be the perfect gentleman for some special someone. He loves to stay busy, so he'd do best in an active home. He will make someone very happy someday. Shiloh is house-trained, neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. His adoption fee is $250.

Zephyr, Shiloh and friends can be adopted through CARE for Animals. More information is available at (501) 603-2273 and www.careforanimals.org.
