1 Purse $24,500, 6 furlongs, fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up, maiden claiming $12,500

**HONEST N LUCKY has earned the field's fastest Beyer figure at the meeting. She is a lightly raced filly with winning connections who is dropping to the bottom of the local maiden ranks. IMAGINARY MUSIC overcame a slightly troubled trip to finish a close third at this level, and she may have needed the race after a two-month freshening. ALL RIGHT WITH ME raced outside of rivals in a fourth-place return to the races, and the Steve Asmussen trainee has a license to show improvement.

**OPPORTUNISTIC has won back-to-back wet-track races at the meeting. He is back in similar company and should be tracking the morning-line favorite. RED AGAIN has used his speed to his advantage in winning four of his past five races. POINT HOPE rallied to a competitive third-pace finish at this condition at Fair Grounds, and the 11-time winner was claimed by leading trainer Steve Asmussen.

***RUN BALLERINA has finished a clear second in both of her races, and she could not have landed in a softer maiden race. CASH ME OUSSIDE raced close to the lead from start to finish in a third-place route finish. She is taking a slight drop and could be going best inside the final furlong. OUR LUCKY STAR has led for 6 furlongs before tiring in consecutive route races. Cutting back to a sprint may be what she needs.

***TIZ SHOWBIZ defeated stronger $12,500 claimers earlier in the meeting, and he is back in a claiming race after a pair of competitive starter allowance races. MIDNIGHT LAS VEGAS is a speedy gelding who has finished in-the-money in five consecutive races. He appears to be working exceptionally well for new and high-percentage trainer Norman McKnight. MR. BENZ has been a clear late-running winner of back-to-back races, and he is a logical threat if able to hold form for new connections.

***MY GOLDEN DIABLO finished his debut preparations with a pair of bullet workouts at Louisiana Downs, and he is bred for speed. Trainer Al Stall Jr. excels with young horses. DESTINEDTOBEASTAR finished third in a pair of maiden allowance races. He is dropping into a maiden-claimer for the first time after a fourth-place finish in the $100K Rainbow. SILVER CITY BLUES has been well bet in two races, but early trouble has compromised his best.

****SURE THING SHEILA has crossed the wire first in five of her past seven races, and she is back in her division after a competitive fourth-place finish racing against males. CUDDLE KITTEN lost a late lead in a narrow loss at this classification March 28, and she is one who will appreciate a wet track. SILVERA is the speed drawn on the rail, and she is making her first start for winning trainer Robertino Diodoro.

**GO SPREAD THE WORD has not raced since showing speed in a third-place debut finish in 2017 at Louisiana Downs. She is working smartly for her return and lands in a soft, state-bred maiden-claimer. DADDY'S ANGEL has been forwardly placed in a pair of in-the-money finishes at the meeting, and she has a conditioning and experience edge over the top mare. WARM BEAUTY is taking a big drop in class after a troubled start April 18, and she is a big danger if able to break clean from the gate.

**MASON DIXON was a fast-closing third in a useful sprint tune-up, and the proven wet-track runner drew inside and is bred to carry his speed this far. BREAKING NEWS splashed his way to a 3-length maiden-sprint victory, and the son of Mineshaft should appreciate the added ground. TIKHVIN FLEW was stake-placed this winter at Aqueduct, and he is adding blinkers after a poor performance in the Arkansas Derby.

**ALITTLECOMPLICATED was an easy wet-track winner at this condition just two weeks back, and the 6-year-old mare knows how to win. DANCE PROPOSAL is riding a modest two-race winning streak. She possesses early speed and receives a break in the weights with an apprentice rider aboard. CHILEAN QUEEN has been beating up on state-bred rivals at the meeting, and the pace figures fast enough to flatter her late run.

EXOTIC POSSIBILITIES

The fifth race is a good trifecta race because it has a solid contender in MY GOLDEN DIABLO, and a large field of 10 to spread out and maybe catch a price in the place or show spot. The sixth race starts a 50-cent Pick-4, and it appears a two-horse race. The seventh race drew a field of 11, and at least three fillies bring the talent to win. The eighth race has three or four contenders, and the ninth seems like another two-filly race.
