The Cathedral of St. Andrew was the setting at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 27, for the marriage of Jennifer Louise Corbin and Adam Machen Bearden. Officiating was Monsignor David LeSieur of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Rogers.

The bride is the daughter of Dorcy and the late Arkansas Supreme Court Justice Donald L. Corbin of Little Rock and the granddaughter of the late Rita and Slater G. Kyle of Hot Springs and the late Louise and Louis E. Corbin of Texarkana.

Parents of the groom are Claudia and Rick Bearden of Little Rock. He is the grandson of Adelene and Luther Bearden of Batesville and Virginia and the late Claude Machen of Little Rock.

The chancel held white arrangements of Easter lilies, calla lilies, gladiolus and carnations. Music was by the cathedral's choir and organist Beau Baldwin. Cantor was Hope Sharp. Readers were JoAnna Kyle of New York and Elizabeth Kyle of Bentonville, cousins of the bride, and Allison Bearden of Little Rock, sister of the groom.

The bride was escorted by her uncle and godfather, Dr. Rick Kyle. She wore a strapless silk-taffeta gown with a draped bodice. The full skirt was embellished with a bow on the hip and extended to a chapel-length train. She carried a bouquet of white calla lilies and lily grass. Attached to the bouquet was her great-grandmother's locket holding her father's picture, along with a legislative pin he received during his tenure in Arkansas' House of Representatives.

Allison Corbin Anthony of Little Rock was her sister's matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Ashley Corbin of Denver, sister of the bride; Stephani Kyle of Dallas, cousin of the bride; Molly McNulty, Katie Lehner and Mary Nell McBryde, all of Little Rock; and Allison Andrade of Knoxville, Tenn. They wore gray-blue chiffon gowns and carried white calla lilies.

Flower girl was Emerson Anthony of Little Rock, niece of the bride. Ring bearer was Paxton Andrade of Knoxville.

Best man was Nicholas Crowe of Little Rock. Groomsmen were Jesse Beck of Fayetteville and Lance Wilcox, Geoffrey Campbell, Grant Hastings, Cory Willett and Tyler Arnold, all of Little Rock. Guests were seated by Kyle Corbin of Arvada, Colo., and Slater Corbin of Little Rock, brothers of the bride; Jack Allen and Andrew Coates, both of Little Rock; and Spencer Lucker of Detroit, cousin of the groom.

A reception in the Cathedral's McDonald Hall was held after the ceremony. Tables were decorated with round glass bowls filled with submerged white flowers including calla lilies, tulips, peonies, orchids and hybrid delphinium or vases filled with white gladiola. Music was by the B-Flats.

The bride is a graduate of the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, with a bachelor's degree in Spanish and Latin American studies. She was a Rotary International Scholar in Burgos, Spain, and a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar in Veracruz, Mexico. She has a law degree from the University of Arkansas School of Law and is a deputy prosecuting attorney for the 6th Judicial District.

The groom has a bachelor's degree in construction management from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and is director of business development at Taggart Architects.

The couple will live in Little Rock after a honeymoon in Europe.
