The Cate Brothers Band will perform at 8 p.m. Friday at the Ron Robinson Theater in Little Rock. Admission for general admission seating is $25.

Led by twin brothers Earl (guitar) and Ernie (keyboards and vocals) Cate, the group has been perhaps the most acclaimed rock band from Arkansas since its formation in the early 1970s, culminating in their first album, a self-titled debut in 1975. The band's only top 25 hit, "Union Man," was on the album.

Jim Lauderdale will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday. Admission is $20 for general admission seating.

Lauderdale, 62, a singer-songwriter and winner of two Grammy Awards, has recorded 31 albums since 1986, the latest of which is From Another World. He has recorded with Elvis Costello, Donna the Buffalo, Buddy Miller, Ralph Stanley and Grateful Dead collaborator Robert Hunter.
