HOXIE -- Shunderrick Powell broke loose for a 55-yard touchdown to open the second half and give the Mustangs (9-2) a lead that they would not surrender in their victory over Drew Central (6-5).
Powell scored again in the fourth quarter as part of the Mustangs' five-touchdown second half, after they trailed by six points at halftime.
Drew Central mounted a late comeback attempt, scoring on a fumble recovery and a rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter.
