The Hallmark Channel has fully rolled out its annual "Countdown to Christmas" programming as they also celebrate the 10th anniversary of the "event" this year. Two new original movies roll out this week.
First is Write Before Christmas at 7 p.m. today. It stars Torrey DeVitto (Chicago Med), Chad Michael Murray (Riverdale), Lolita Davidovich (How to Get Away with Murder) and Grant Show (Dynasty).
The movie tells the story of Jessica (DeVitto) who is dumped by her boyfriend right before Christmas. She sends five cards meant for him to five people who changed her life, setting off a chain reaction of love. In the end its up to fate to save the day.
At 7 p.m. Saturday, Christmas at Graceland: Home for the Holidays premieres. it stars Kaitlin Doubleday (Nashville) as world-traveler Harper Ellis, who returns to Memphis for the holidays to stay with her family and interview for an overseas position at a museum. While there, the takes a nanny position for wealthy widower Owen Reed (Adrian Grenier, Entourage) while she waits to hear about the job.
Though their personalities clash initially, the two feel an undeniable spark that leads to romantic feelings. Then its up to Ellis to decide if she'll leave or stay in Memphis.
