Last week President Trump suggested this one: "We ought to start our own network and put our own news out there." Who is "we," Mr. President? Like, the state, perhaps? Because if you're talking about your political party, it has its own propaganda organ at Fox News.
State-sponsored television is something done in places. Just not very democratic places. Chalk this up as another bad idea in a world full of them.
Besides, Sean Hannity already has a job.
