The state Department of Finance and Administration's revenue office at Maumelle City Hall will start renovations soon and move to a temporary location at 90 Lake Pointe Drive in Maumelle.
Friday will be the last day that the revenue office is open. In order to transfer and set up equipment, the temporary office will not open until Oct. 30, the department said Tuesday in a news release.
On Monday and Tuesday, Maumelle-area residents with revenue office-related business may visit nearby offices, including:
• 1900 W. Seventh St., Little Rock.
• No. 3 State Police Plaza Drive, Suite 300, Little Rock.
• 9108 N. Rodney Parham Road, Suite 107, Little Rock.
• 2655A Pike Ave., Pike Plaza Shopping Center, North Little Rock.
In addition, there are more than 20 services that may be completed online at any time at mydmv.arkansas.gov, the department said.
The finance department expects the renovations at the Maumelle revenue office to be complete by spring. The timing for the office's transfer back to Maumelle City Hall will be announced when the renovations near completion, according to the department.
Department spokesman Scott Hardin said the renovations are being made throughout City Hall by the city, and there is no cost to the finance department for any of the renovations.
