• Allen Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church, 6700 Arkansas 365 South, Sweet Home, will host a Black History Observance, "The History of Our People Continues to Speak," at 5 p.m. today. • Methodist Family Health Counseling Clinic, 74 W. Sunbridge Drive, Fayetteville, will hold "Get Up and Give," a donation drive for clothing, bedding, school supplies and other items it needs to care for families from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. weekdays starting Wednesday through Thursday, April 9.
