Caroline Lucille Scott became the bride of Ethan Tregear Chernivec at 6 p.m. Saturday, July 11, at The Venue at Oakdale in Sherwood. Bob Beach officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Rhonda and James "Tommy" Scott Jr. of Sherwood. Her grandparents are Inez and the late James Whitehead of North Little Rock and the late Verla and James T. Scott Sr..

Parents of the groom are Trena and Timothy Chernivec of Russellville. He is the grandson of Bernice and Lynn Adams of Chubbuck, Idaho, and the late Cresten and Gerald Chernivec.

Vows were exchanged at an altar decorated with peonies, roses and hydrangeas and centered with a large wooden cross. Two large cathedral arrangements of peonies, hydrangeas, larkspur, roses and snapdragons were on each side of the aisle.

The bride, who walked with her father down the aisle, wore an off-the-shoulder gown of beaded lace with a scalloped lace train. Her short veil was edged with beading. She carried a colorful bouquet of Coral Charm peonies, Free Spirit roses, Vogue roses and craspedia.

Kaley Scott Achor of Sherwood was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Hannah Tingle of Sherwood; Angel Breaux, Jordan Collier and Keylee Simpson, all of Conway; Cynthia Weyrens of Little Rock; Felisa Ruiz of Austin, Texas; and Hannah Howard of Fort Smith. They wore crepe-back satin one-shoulder dresses and carried a smaller version of the bridal bouquet.

Best man was Spencer Long of Little Rock. Groomsmen were Drew Smith and Charley Gardner, both of Conway; Tucker Collins of Monticello; Kevin Knox of Little Rock; Cole Pedron of Texarkana, Texas; Hunter Standridge of Fayetteville; and Austin Robinson of Russellville.

A reception, also at The Venue at Oakdale, was held after the ceremony. Tables alternated tall and low arrangements of colorful peonies, roses and hydrangeas on gold stands. Family tables were centered with garlands of foliage and wedding flowers with candles.

The bride completed undergraduate prerequisites at the University of Central Arkansas and is a third-year student at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Pharmacy.

The groom is a UCA graduate with bachelor's degree in biology and is a second-year student at UAMS College of Medicine.

The couple will honeymoon in north Arkansas and plan a delayed wedding trip to Cancun, Mexico. They will make their home in Little Rock.
