Nonprofit to counsel

Spanish-speaking clients

A Baptist-affiliated nonprofit devoted to helping families and children in crises can now provide counseling services to Spanish-speaking clients, it announced Monday in a news release.

Arkansas Baptist Children's Homes and Family Ministries, a branch of the Arkansas Baptist State Convention, has brought Rebeca Morales, LAC, on board as its bilingual clinical counselor at the Little Rock location of its Living Well Counseling office on Frontage Road.

The nonprofit notes that it provided more than 3,000 counseling sessions to individuals, couples and families. The counseling office accepts some forms of insurance and provides need-based financial assistance.

Morales will "bring professional training, Christian compassion and cultural understanding together in the counseling process," the release stated.

Contact the office at (877) 455-8554 for more information.
