Photographers

The Photographic Society of Northwest Arkansas' Distinguished Photographer Series will present an online seminar on Diana Mara Henry, a photographer and journalist, at 7 p.m. March 2.

Across four decades of public reporting, perhaps no photographer has been so widely recognized as Henry for historical records of the women's movement. Her breadth of subject extends from the presidential campaigns of McGovern, Carter, Reagan and media titan Malcolm Forbes to demonstrations for the ERA and the Women's Pentagon Action.

She won recognition as a New York-based journalist who chose her subjects for their enduring meaning. She will tell the story through her iconic images that wrote the history of culture and consciousness in the last decades of the 20th century.
