Highway department seeks public input on Arkansas 59 bridge replacement

The Arkansas Department of Transportation will hold an online public meeting about the proposed design modifications to the Illinois River bridge replacement on Arkansas 59 in Benton County.

The public is invited to listen, view meeting materials and provide written comments. The website will be available for comments until 4:30 p.m. March 17. Participants will have an opportunity to ask questions and make comments during a "live" online presentation from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.

To access the online public meeting, click on the link above. The website will provide project materials and handouts that would have been shown at in-person meetings. A separate link on that page will provide a Spanish language version of the presentation. There will also be an option to send online comment forms to transportation department staff, or the form may be printed and mailed to, Environmental Division, 10324 Interstate 30, Little Rock, Ark., 72209.
