I don't know who, if anyone, vetted Matthew Wendt, the now former Fayetteville School District superintendent who lost his job the other day after a stunning alleged sexual misbehavior and harassment claim involving a female subordinate employee.

In 2016, the Central Arkansas Library System opened a 160-space public parking deck adjacent to its main campus in downtown Little Rock's River Market District. The five-story deck is at the corner of Rock Street and Clinton Avenue. It provided needed parking for the booming neighborhood, but one thing was missing. The ground floor wasn't being used.

DEAR ABBY: My husband and I have been married 2½ years. We have both been married before. I have a son, and he has three daughters. My son is married with two children. He works and is pretty self-sufficient. Two of my husband's daughters live in the same city we do. They are 26 and 28. They don't have cars or driver licenses and live with their mother, who is also car-less.
