Editor's note: The 21st annual Great River Rumble canoe and kayak trip explored the Chippewa River in Wisconsin and the upper Mississippi River July 30-Aug. 6 and covered about 100 miles. The trip started on the Chippewa at Eau Claire, Wis., and ended at Winona, Minn., on the Mississippi.
