Sibyl Smith

Sibyl Smith, 91, of West Memphis, Ark. passed away July 31, 2010 at Crittenden Regional Hospital in West Memphis. Mrs. Smith was a member First United Methodist Church in West Memphis, National Association of Retired Federal Employees, Friends of the Library, Humane Society of Eastern Arkansas. She was a retired District Loan Officer and Assistant County Supervisor for the Federal Government. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur L. Smith, Jr; Parents, Albert H. Warthan & Sarah (Jackson) Warthan; two sisters, Johnnie Dowler & Rosa Cathryn Smelser and survived by one son, Arthur L. Smith III of West Memphis and four nieces and nephews. Visitation will be August 4, 2010 from 5-7 p.m. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis and Services at First United Methodist Church 10 a.m., Thursday, August 5, 2010 in West Memphis, Ark. with interment following at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion, Ark.
