Ona Elizabeth Gover

Ona Elizabeth Gover, 87, a homemaker of Sherwood, passed away August 10, 2010 at her residence; she was born on May 31, 1923 in West Virginia; she was the daughter of George Robert Rorrer and Hattie Earles Rorrer. Ona's husband Odies Gover passed away in 2003, she was also preceded in death by her son Orson, and her parents. Survivors include her sons, Olin Gover, and wife Martha, of San Antonio; Emerson Gover of Little Rock; daughters-in-law, Judy Chase of Illinois; Betty Rogers of San Antonio; six grandchildren, Stan, Julie, Jennifer, Matt, and Jenny Byrne, & four great-grandchildren, Annie Barrionuevo and Logan, Addie, and Parker Byrne; and a brother, Warren Rorrer of North Carolina. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, August 14, 2010 at Huson Funeral Home Chapel in Sherwood, burial will be held privately in Rest Hills Memorial Park Cemetery in North Little Rock.
