Mildred Drucilla Williams passed away at her residence at Horizon Bay retirement home in Arlington, Texas, on Aug. 25, 2010 where she received such loving care. Born to Walter and Agusta Red on May 31, 1911, in Saline County in community of Olive Hill near Mabelvale, Ark. Mildred lived her devoted husband, Buster, in Little Rock, Ark. until his death in 2001. In 2008, she moved to Arlington, Texas to be with family. Mildred's life centered around her extended family of her brothers and sisters. All have preceded her in death except Artie Pollom and Carroll Red of California and Margaret Mueller of Arlington, Texas. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. She was devoted to Immanuel Baptist Church in Little Rock where she taught Sunday school for many years. She also was a member of Eastern Star, Esther Chapter No. 217. Visitation Aug. 31, 7-9 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth Funeral Home at 5800 West 12th St. Graveside services and entombment at 11 a.m. Sept. 1, Forest Hills Memorial Park in Alexander.
