David Quinton Faryewicz (David Reynolds), 45 of Las Vegas, Nevada/Palm Springs, California, formerly of North Little Rock, Arkansas, left this world on November 24, 2010. David was an entertainer both on and off stage. He performed the first time at Immaculate Conception School in the 1st grade for the PTO. He performed while attending Catholic High School for Boys in the play West Side Story. David attended college at Webster University, as a Performing Arts major. He performed at Murray Dinner Theater during college as well as Summer Stock Theater in "Hello Dolly". His first professional show was as the lead male singer/dancer at Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, Virginia. He then moved to Las Vegas Nevada where he was in many shows. He starred in "Beach Blanket Babylon" and the number one show in Vegas, "Enter the Night". He also performed at the Dunes, the Stardust, and the Sahara with well-known stars such as: Debbie Reynolds, Sammy Davis,Jr. and Rosie Perez. David performed in on-Broadway and off-Broadway productions for a number of years. As recently as October 2010, he performed once again on-Broadway at B.B. King's. David began traveling on Royal Vikings Cruise Line as the lead male singer/dancer and continued with Princess Cruise Lines in the same role. David traveled around the world more than three times. He performed Andrew Lloyd Weber's "Starlight Express" for a long run in Bonn, Germany. During that performance he always thought it was funny to be the Italian train, Espresso, while speaking German with a Southern accent. During time off, he loved performing at the Arkansas Repertory Theater. David returned to the states and lived in Ft. Lauderdale until he moved to Las Vegas in 2004. He became the spokesperson and Master of Ceremonies for the Venetian Hotel and Casino, hosting all of their events and game shows. David's life-long love of flowers inspired him to open his shop in Las Vegas: We Luv Flowers. He described himself as a floral architect, designing the large displays that are currently seen in major Las Vegas casinos. He was honored by being asked to design the bouquet of roses for the 2010 Miss America Pageant. David entertained every person he met or passed by with a smile, a reason to laugh, a compliment, a gentle hand, or a song. He loved freely with his generosity to so many people. In all of his travels, David still considered North Little Rock his home and he was always so proud to tell people he was from Arkansas. He is survived by his loving and proud parents, John and Dolores Faryewicz of North Little Rock; his sister Jo Ann McNeely and brother-in-law Steve McNeely from Aurora Illinois; his sister and best friend Carol Faryewicz Bishop, her husband Robert Bishop and nephew Conner Bishop of North Little Rock, Arkansas; his brother Jim Faryewicz, sister-in-law Bebe Faryewicz, nephew Jimmy Faryewicz and niece Val Faryewicz of Plano, Texas; his brother John L. Faryewicz, Jr. of Conway, Arkansas; and Marc Brooks of Palm Springs, California. Donations to the Pulaski County Humane Society, 14600 Colonel Glenn Road, Little Rock, Arkansas 72210, can be made in honor of David Faryewicz. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., Monday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial will be in Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. Sunday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main, 758-1170 with the Rosary to follow at 6 p.m. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
