Bobby Ray Carnes

Bobby Ray Carnes, 43, died Thursday, December 9, 2010, at Baptist Health-Little Rock. Bobby was born February 19, 1967, to Robert and Mildred Tolbert Carnes. A graduate of Stuttgart High School, he was former parts manager of Crow Burlingame for 21 years and was known as the parts God. Bobby was a wonderful husband and loving father and grandfather, and was his mother's favorite son. He loved hunting and fishing, and loved animals. And anyone who knew Bobby knew he loved to cook and eat! He was a Baptist and carpenter. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Pruitt and Mary Bell Carnes and Buford and Clemma Tolbert. Survivors are his wife, Donna Carnes; two sons, Christopher Max Carnes and Stephen Casey Carnes of Stuttgart; step-son, T.J. Bryant (Susan) of Cabot; two "almost" brothers, Calvin Rand of Coy and Rick Bednar of Stuttgart; sisters, Shelley Holland of Pine Bluff, Leslie Cahill of Morrilton and Lynne McTigrit of DeWitt; two "almost" sisters, Lora Rand of Coy and Teri Reynolds (his conscience) of Alabama; and five grandchildren. A memorial service, officiated by Bro. Donald Lee Ruffin, will be 4 p.m. Sunday at Turpin Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
