Edna Magadalene Yarberry Beck

Edna Magdalene Kindy Yarberry Beck, age 92, of Arch Street Pike, East End Community, left the arms of her loving family and went to be with her Lord on Sunday, December 12, 2010. Edna was born July 6, 1918 in Little Rock, Arkansas to W.H. and Pearl Kindy. In 1933, she married Robert E. Lee Yarberry. She lived in Mabelvale and worked for Sterling Stores and Little Rock Tent and Awning when she was younger. In 1963, she moved with her family to the East End Community where she was a charter member of Springlake Church of the Nazarene. She devoted much time and love to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Survivors include two daughters, Edna Pearl (Bill) Wilson, Hensley, Ark., Virginia (James) Rock, Hensley, Ark., three grandchildren, Linda (Keith) Wilson Corpier, Hensley, Ark., Clifford (Michelle) Wilson, Danbury, Texas, April (Eric) Rock Hoover, LeClaire, Iowa, nine great-grandchildren, Garrett Corpier, Hensley, Ark., Katie, Michael, and Rachel Wilson, Danbury, Texas, Jessica (Bo) Hoover Cheshire, Jacksonville, Fla., Felicia, Rebecca, Joshua, and Zachary Hoover, LeClaire, Iowa and two siblings, Marie Griffis, Little Rock, Ark., and Bob Kindy, Conroe, Texas. Edna was preceded in death by her parents, several siblings, and her husband, Robert Yarberry. Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday at Springlake Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Philip Stein, officiating. Burial will follow at Upchurch Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Wednesday at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, 5800 W. 12th.
