Edna Hollis McGaha Hiett Sikes, 90, of North Little Rock, died December 24, 2010 at Baptist Medical Center, North Little Rock. She was born July 10, 1920 to the late William D. and Susie G. McGaha in Greenbrier, Ark. She is also preceded in death by her husbands, Gerald Hiett and Arnold Sikes, brothers, Howard and Bill McGaha, and sister, Bobbie Hess. Edna was a long-time member of Gardner Memorial United Methodist Church and retired from Workmen Compensation Commission. She is survived by daughter, Ginger Diederich (Bill) of North Little Rock, sister, Myna Hickman (Dan) of Cabot, brother, Jim McGaha (Frances) of Cabot, step-daughter, Mary Nell Blackwell (George) of Sherwood, step-son, Jim Sikes (Eileen) of Orlando, Florida, nephews, nieces and a very special friend, Martha Blake (Vaughn) of North Little Rock. She will be missed by a host of other family and friends. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, and entertaining family and friends at her home. She loved to quilt and was a member of the Gardner Quilters. A special thanks to the nurses and staff of Baptist Medical Center, North Little Rock for their excellent care. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd., North Little Rock, Ark. 72116 (501-791-7400). Services will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at the funeral home.Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Conway, Ark.
