Franklin L. Donald

Franklin L. Donald, 76, of Trinity, Florida, passed away December 18, 2010. He was born in Kensett, Arkansas and attended Judsonia schools. He is survived by his loving wife and caretaker of 57 years, Velma; children, Steven (Kim) Donald, Sharon (Mark) Scherdin, Patricia (Richard) Wentland and Kevin (Diana) Donald; brothers, James (Ann) Donald, William (Nora) Ivy, Thomas J. (Sue) Muse; sisters, Sarah (Andrew) Cvitanovich, Rosemarie (Ralph) Jeffries; Grandchildren, Jeffrey and Christopher Scherdin, Christina Donald-Judkins and David Donald, Ryan and Robert Wentland, Matthew Donald and step-grandson, Chris Jacobson; four great-granddaughters and his beloved extended family and friends. Frank was predeceased by his mother, Violet Muse, step-father, James Muse, brothers, Alvin Converse, and James T. Muse and sister, Ruby Muse. Frank attended Utilities Engineering Institute in Chicago where he studied HVAC, his profession for 43 years. He was a member of the Plumbers and Pipe-fitters Union. He enjoyed classical country music and hymns. Frank would sing several versus to Amazing Grace, and I Started Loving You Today, even near the end of his life. Frank is now singing his favorite songs in Heaven. Services will be held at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, Little Rock, Arkansas and internment will be at River Woods Memorial Gardens, Maumelle, Arkansas. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
