Adell Plyler

Adell Plyler, age 89, of Glenwood, passed away on Friday, July 2, 2010. She was born on Aug. 31, 1920 in Athens, Ark., the daughter of the late William "Bill" Tollett and Drucilla Davis Tollett. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jonas Charlie Plyler; two brothers; and her great-grandson, Park Edward Dumas. She was a long time member of the Glenwood Church of Christ. Survivors are her son, Gene E. Plyler of Roland; her daughter, Jo Ann Thomas of Glenwood; three granddaughters; and six great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 6, 2010 in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Glenwood with Harloe White and Royce Golden officiating. Interment will be in the Salem Cemetery near Glenwood under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood.
