Betty Aline Moffett

Betty Aline Moffett, age 92, a lifelong resident of Little Rock, departed this life for her heavenly home on Wednesday, June 9th, 2010. She was the 11th and youngest child of James H. Brewer and Ruth Ella Ritchie Brewer. Her parents, all 10 siblings, husbands Merrival Emde (died in 1960) and Lawrence R. Moffett(died in 1980), stepson, L.R. Moffett, Jr. and step-grandson, Greg Moffett preceded her in death. She is survived by a large extended family and many dear Christian friends. Aline was an active member of the Windsong Church of Christ and loved the Lord's church and His work. After a private burial, a memorial service will be delayed until July 30, 2010. The family requests no flowers, but memorials may be made to Partners in Progress, P.O. Box 13989, Maumelle, Ark. 72113. PIP spreads the gospel around the world while feeding children in Cambodia and Myanmar and operating the medical "Ship of Life". Aline's family extends heartfelt thanks to the staffs of Chenal Rehab and Healthcare and Hospice Home Care Inpatient Facility for the tender loving care they gave Aline in her final months.
