D. L. Kennedy

D.L. Kennedy, Jr., age 66, of Little Rock, Arkansas went home to be with his Lord on Tuesday, June 8, 2010. He was born April 26, 1944 to his parents Daniel Lee Kennedy, Sr. and Ottie Barker in Heber Spring, Arkansas. Survivors include his wife Diane Loftin Kennedy of Little Rock; one son, Danny Kennedy of Little Rock; two daughters, Paige Kennedy James (Robert) of Benton and Andrea Kennedy Meyer (Mark) of Alexander; three grandchildren, Ryan and Ashton James and Amanda Kennedy; and a special nephew Tim and a niece, Angel who loved him like a dad. He is preceded in death by his parents, one son, Chris Kennedy and one brother, Wilburn Kennedy. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. on Friday, June 11, 2010 at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home, 10200 Hwy. 5 North, Alexander, Ark. (501)-455-1067 with Pastor Pat Dezort officiating. Burial will follow at Landmark Cemetery. A visitation will be 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 10, 2010 at the funeral home.
