Flossie Dean Gardner Files, age 93, of Fordyce went to meet her Saviour June 8, 2010. She was a faithful member of Zion Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Pinkney and Annie Mae Clemons Gardner; a granddaughter, Melanie Ann Jones; two sisters, Marie Presley and Dorsey Milligan, seven brothers, Silas, Orlen, Melvin, Henry, Roy, Aubrey and Loyce Gardner. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, William Ira Files; two sons, Johnnie R. Files and wife, Patricia of Fordyce, Sherron T. (S.T.) Files and wife Dorothy of El Dorado, three grandchildren, Stephanie Files of Jacksonville, Nikki Lynn Rice of Fordyce, T.J. Files of Warren and ten great-grandchildren. We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the staff at St. John's Place in Fordyce for their loving care to her and her family. The family will receive friends Thursday June 10, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral Services will be 10 a.m. Friday June 11, 2010 at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.
