Cindy Powell Root

Cindy Powell Root, 42, of Marion, Ark., passed away Saturday June 26, 2010 at her residence. She was a member of the Highway 77 Church of Christ and a member of the University of Arkansas Class of 1989. Ms. Root was preceded in death by her grandparents, Troy Chapple and Joe and Audrey Powell. She is survived by her parents, Nathan E. and Joyce Chapple Powell of Marion, Ark.; her brother, Nathan Joey Powell of Marion, Ark.; her grandmother, Inez Chapple of Lepanto, Ark.; two nephews, Nathan Derek Powell of Marion, Ark. and Joseph Tyler Powell of Marion, Ark. and her great-niece, Maelee Powell of Braggadocio, Mo. The visitation will be Thursday, July 1, 2010 from 12 noon - 2 p.m. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis, Ark. with the service following at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel and interment following the service in Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion, Ark.
