Clyde G. Thacker

Clyde G. Thacker, 89 of Holly Springs, passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at National Park Medical Center in Hot Springs. He was born on September 23, 1920 in Arkansas County, Arkansas. Clyde was a retired United States Army Veteran of WWII and Korea, he was also a retired postal worker for the Little Rock area, who loved fishing and traveling. He is preceded in death by his wife Mary Lois Thacker, his parents Albert Elga and Pearl Pugh Thacker, two brothers, Donald Thacker and Vern Thacker, and a son Ronald L. Thacker. Survivors include his daughter and son–in-law, Robyn and Rick Fuehrer of Jacinto; a son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Glynda Thacker of Holly Springs; granddaughter, Ashley Thacker of Holly Springs; and a sister-in-law, Cecile Gray of Dewitt; and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 1, 2010 from 9 a.m. until the funeral service time at 10 a.m. both at Huson Funeral Home in Little Rock.
