Bertha Ladene Rogers Qualls

Bertha Ladene Rogers Qualls, 90, went to be with the Lord Jesus Sunday, November 7, 2010. She was born January 27, 1920, at Ash Flat, Ark., the daughter of the late John R. Rogers and Emma Brawley Rogers. She was a member of Geyer Springs First Baptist Church, Little Rock, Ark., but her heart stayed a member of First Baptist Church of Evening Shade, Ark. She was preceded in death by her husband Corbit L. Qualls; sisters, Bunis Hoaney, Zetti Rogers, Mable Oyler, Retha Smith; and brother, Oval Rogers. She is survived by her son, L.C. Qualls and his wife Lynda; granddaughters Theresa Qualls and Angela Moseley (Tommy); four great-grandchildren all of Benton, Ark.; one honorary granddaughter, Maria Poret Carpenter; and many nieces, nephews and cousins that she loved. Funeral service will be Friday, November 12, 2010, at 2 p.m. with visitation from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Qualls Funeral Home in Cave City, Ark., with Dr. Tommy Moseley and Rev. Larry Weaver officiating. Burial will be at the Evening Shade Cemetery.
