Joann Taylor Tuggle

Joann Taylor Tuggle, age 76, of Portland, died Tuesday, November 23, 2010, at her home. She was born November 5, 1934, in Gideon, Missouri, the daughter of the late Herchel Alvin Taylor and Louise Monville Taylor and was a homemaker and member of Portland United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, by a baby sister, Celia Diane Taylor, by her step-mother, Louise Hughes and by a step-brother, Bob Hughes. Survivors are her husband, R.H. Tuggle of Portland; three daughters, Paula Tuggle Bollich and husband, Damian, of Jones, Louisiana, Patti Tuggle of Portland, and Andi Tuggle Smith of Portland and son-in-law, Brad Smith of Jennie; a brother, Alvin Dale Taylor and wife, Rita, of Flint, Michigan; a step-brother, Wayne Hughes of Clarkton, Missiouri; two sisters, Mary Lou Moylan of Clarkton, Missouri and Debbie Scott and husband, Vernon, of Gideon, Missouri; five step-sisters, Shirley, Phyllis, Judy, Sandy, and Peggy and five grandchildren, Brandon Bollich, Matthew Bollich, Larkin Tuggle, Carlee Smith and Cody Smith, a step-grandson, Dane Pardon and many loving nieces and nephews. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Friday, November 26, 2010, at Portland United Methodist Church with Stanton Veasey officiating. Burial will follow in Portland Cemetery under the direction of Bishop Funeral Home of Lake Village.
