Zack Stone

Zack Stone, 89, of Bartlesville, Okla. passed away at 8:37 a.m. Tuesday, October 5th at Jane Phillips Medical Center. A memorial graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at CedarVale Cemetery in Hot Springs Village, Ark. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Walker-Brown Funeral Home. Zack Taylor Stone Jr. was born July 30, 1921 in Pine Bluff, Ark. to Zack Taylor and Mae (Jacks) Stone Sr. Zack farmed for over 30 years of his life and was a Deacon at the First Baptist Church in Altheimer, Ark. He spent his recreational time playing golf and bridge during his retirement. Zack is survived by one daughter; Renee Shepherd and husband Bill of St. Simons Island, Ga., one son; Roger Stone and wife Kay of Bartlesville; four grandchildren; Stephanie, Justin, Rebecca and Alison; two sisters; Gayla Holmes of Jacksonville, Ark., Janice Smith of Stuttgart, Ark. and one brother; Jerry Stone of Pine Bluff, Ark. He was preceded in death by his wife Adel Stone, his parents, two sons; Zack Stone III and Bobby Stone; step-mother; Susie Stone and one granddaughter; Sara Shepherd. The family requests no flowers.
