DOUGLAS "DOUG" G. KETCHUM, 53, of North Little Rock passed away Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010. He was born March 5, 1957 in Seattle, Wash., to the late Zane and Dessie Springer Ketchum. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a kind man and never met a stranger. Doug was a wonderful and loving husband and father who enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching his son play football and baseball. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Cheryl Ketchum; son, Zach Ketchum; both of North Little Rock; brother Zane Wyll, of Port Townsend, Wash., and Duane Ketchum; sister-in-law, Diana Alexander; brother-in-law, Danny Youngblood and wife, Donna, nephew, Daniel Youngblood, all of North Little Rock; nephew, Chris Youngblood and wife, Amy, of Cabot; two grand-nephews; one grand-niece; along with many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Zane and Dessie Ketchum. Memorials may be made to charity of choice. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Tuesday in the North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
