Mary Eleanor High Morton

Mary Eleanor High Morton, 84, was born Nov 2, 1925 in Smackover, Ark. and lived most of her life in LR. She moved to Oklahoma City in 1999 after retiring from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers-Little Rock District. She was a member of Putnam City UMC. Mary was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and friend to everyone who knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents Viola and Ray L. High and brother Ray L. High Jr. of Little Rock. She is survived by her daughter, Ann McVey and husband Bill of Oklahoma City and son, Harry Morton and wife Mary of Kempner, Texas, four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Services 10 a.m., Friday, Sep 3, at Putnam City UMC in Oklahoma City. Graveside service 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 4, at Roselawn Memorial Park in LR, Ark.
