Earnest Wayne Garrett

Earnest Wayne Garrett, 76, of Richmond, Virginia, died July 26, 2010. Mr. Garrett was an all-state football player for the Harrison (Arkansas) Goblins who played for the Arkansas Razorbacks, then served as a US Marine Corps officer before his civilian career with A.J. Buck Medical Supply Company. Survivors include his wife, Myra Hazel Garrett; daughter, Frances Garrett Nichols; son, the Reverend Dr. Michael Wayne Garrett; and two grandchildren. In August services were held at his church where he had served as deacon and elder, Three Chopt Presbyterian Church, 9315 Three Chopt Road, Richmond, Virginia 23229. Memorials are requested to his church or the donor's favorite charity.
