Ann Kepley

Ann Kepley passed away in Oklahoma City, Sept. 20, 2010 at the age of 90. Ann was born in Niangua, Mo. on Jan. 3, 1920. She spent her childhood in the area on the family farm. She later moved to Marshfield and then Springfield where she met and married her husband, Robert K. Kepley. Ann's first love was singing, which she did beautifully. She spent many years singing duets with her younger sister, Dora. Her singing career eventually brought Ann and her family to Oklahoma City where she was employed by WKY radio. Her singing talents gave her the opportunity to sing with the late Bob Hope. Ann and Robert eventually retired to Bella Vista, Ark. Ann continued to work and was employed with Riordan Hall for 33 years where she held various positions which included managing the front desk. Some of Ann's fondest memories are of the staff she worked with and the people she met while being employed at Riordan. Ann is preceded in death by her husband Robert; sisters Mildred and Jo Ella,and brothers Dean and Lloyd. She is survived by her sister, Dora Woodruff and husband Bruce; two sons, Don Kepley and wife Tolie, and Bob Kepley and wife Sheri; as well as four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. The family would like to give a special thanks to the close friends who looked after her and loved her dearly.
